Gross pollution in my city and the AQI on this app was stuck at 106 for the entire day. Impossible it was exactly one level for that much time. No pm 2.5 readings either. Pretty new design but feel its just not correct.

I loved this app, until the latest update. You can no longer scroll through past data. And its impossible to save your notification preferences. So every day I tell it I want the aqi number to show on the app screen and from which source, only to have to do it again the next day. So annoying.

After the redesign/rebrand to Air Matters from Air Quality, the Today widgets and Apple Watch complication are always out of sync, and it takes ages to load the latest data when opening the app. The glanceable information that had worked so perfectly before is now useless as every time I want to check the AQI I have to open the app, pull to refresh, and wait for the latest readings to load. Would pay to get the previous version of the app back.

Watch face doesnt update.

I like the global functionality, but I miss the wind direction on the weather forecast. This is really important to know in China, given the poor air quality.

I have been using this App for many years. The old version worked much better in graphics showing multiple cities air quality. Particularly it is far easier to share the AQI pictorially with friends on WeChat and Weibo. Now, the sharing function became a link to the App. Terrible.

Been using this app for years but it just got a whole lot better. Hard to believe its free. Keep up the great work!

While the metrics of air purity is empirical, a positive improvement is the comparative analysis of world wide cities. My only regret is that I cannot synchronize my Xiaomi purifier with your app!

You will know what days you need to wear a mask to protect yourself. Same goes for many dangerously polluted cities in other countries.

Better than last version

Ive used a bunch in China and this one is the most user friendly. It updates very quickly. I like how it gives you a dashboard of dos and donts based in the current AQI.

The Chinese government forced the developers to censor this app, so it no longer gives readings from the U.S. Embassy in Beijing. But that was only the beginning of the problems. Now the app is blank whenever I open it and the notifications in the Notification Center never update. Im going to switch to a better one.

Works fine for what it is. Unlike other reviewers I do see the US Consulate’s reading for the city I’m in (which is always the highest) and it seems to match up with the data online.

An extremely useful app in an extremely polluted place - China.
