I tested a few but this is the one I keep referring to.

The app is well done and very useful. Good graphics too. The developers seems to be very serious and are updating the app often. I like the new widget feature on IOS 8 but I wish there will be more options in the widget itself, in order to select the cities to visualize in the Notification Center. Thats why I rated it 4 stars. Im sure it will be rated 5 stars soon!

Sometime it shows that for Beijing its good air quality while is absolutely NOT and you can check it with the real pollution index from the U.S. Embassy. Its a chinese app and a Big lie.

Recently my app wont open. It simply crashes upon clicking.

This app has finally addressed global air quality. I say finally, but this app seems to be way out ahead of most (if not all) others Ive tried. There are still a few issues with locations not named or assigned correctly. But, overall it is an incredibly powerful tool for tracking AQI and I use it daily.

I have used this app for years and the latest update is phenomenal with support for U.S. Love the new UI

Heres another example of programmers who dont listen and understand their customers and want to "add cool functionality" that is completely irrelevant... same stupid fad that apple is going through... updating just for sake of updating and adding stuff, without regards to their user base... I have used this app to check the AQI in my city, and also to double check the monitors from the US embassy... now they have not only made the display uglier, but also have made it more difficult to display the US embassy monitors. But the best thing, they added New York and other big cities... like anyone in those cities really cares to check the pollution levels... so absurd... thanks for destroying my favorite app...

This is a must have app if you live in China. Always be up to date with the air quality. Would be a five star app if it showed countries beside China. UPDATE: Has lots of countries! Just gave this app 5 stars.

FYI... Go to settings>Remove Ads and reset your purchases if youve already paid. Ads will then be removed. Dont listen to the people saying not to upgrade, they dont know what theyre talking about.

UI looks brand new! Its also great that the app now supports showing AQI of other cities around the globe. Initially there was a problem with the in-App Purchase that removes Ads which didnt work even after subscription. Now it has been completely fixed! Strongly recommend!

I love this app! If you live in China and or work here, you will definitely need to have a Air Quality index app. This app is easy to use, functional, and allows you to have measurements from multiple sources and cities all at once. The notifications are really useful for planning your day in the morning, and keeping up-to-date throughout the day. Sundays you dont want to spend a lot of time outside, so if this app you might decide to take a taxi or a bus instead of walking or riding a bike. Unlike other users who have complained about the update, I loved the update. Its not hard to find the embassy ratings- as some users complained- and the new design is much more simplified and intuitive. Way to go!

The new display is one I like a lot. I like how you have the option of backgrounds. But, I have many cities that I watch and I watch potential cities that I want to travel to. But I can no longer observe them. You get a choice over languages, but Chinese cities are now displayed in English. So if you are unfamiliar with the name of the city in Chinese, you are screwed until you do! I do believe the people who run this app should have considered that if a person sets the language isnt English, they want to display things in English. Other than this, it is still a good app, I just have no idea what city I am looking at!

Lots of useless functions, would rather roll back to older ver.

This app was great before the most recent major update. Its harder to use, less intuitive, and more fuza.

I NEVER write reviews, but for this App I feel its necessary. Last update is horrible. UI is MUCH worse than previous version, and the developer decided it was a good idea to charge 0.99/year to remove ads. Previously it was just a one time charge. Im deleting this App from my phone, with the hope that theres something like the old China Air Quality App out there.

This app used to work great before the update. I used it on my Apple watch a lot but after recent update the app doesnt run on watch at all (attempts to start and just times out and closes) and the apps watch face complication doesnt return any data. I rely on this a lot being in China. Please fix.

This was my favorite! Sadly, I am deleting it. Few cities are listed in English; now mostly Chinese characters which doesnt help those of us who dont read them. Unable to delete the cities that are not of interest and with few others in English, cant add those I need....in spite of my settings.

Awesome app for people who really care about air quality.
